Data Security & Compliance

How ClinicNex AI Protects Your Clinic's Data

Patient information is sensitive. This page explains in plain, transparent language where your data is stored, who can see it, and how we keep it safe.

Security by Design

Healthcare software requires the highest standard of data guardianship. Whether you run a single-doctor practice in Rawalpindi or a 10-doctor surgical center in Lahore, we treat your clinical and financial data with uncompromising security standards.

Core Protection Pillars

End-to-End TLS Encryption

All communications between your browser, staff tablets, and our servers are encrypted via modern TLS (HTTPS) protocols.

Encrypted at Rest & Salted Hashes

Patient records and system databases are encrypted at rest. User passwords are encrypted with industry-standard salted hashes; nobody at ClinicNex AI can read them.

Tenant-Isolated Clinical Data

Each clinic's database records are strictly isolated. No clinic can ever view, query, or access another clinic's patients, doctors, or financial figures.

Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)

Clinic owners choose what each team member accesses. Receptionists schedule appointments and generate slips without viewing financial summaries or confidential notes.

Automated Daily Backups

Clinic databases are backed up automatically every day and archived securely in independent storage locations to ensure disaster recovery and business continuity.

Data Portability & Zero Lock-in

You can export your complete patient list, visit logs, invoices, and accounting records to CSV, Excel, or PDF at any time.

Where Your Data is Stored

ClinicNex AI is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Middle East region (Bahrain / UAE, me-central-1). Our servers run in professionally managed data centres with physical security, redundant power, and 24/7 automated monitoring.

If you close your account, you can export your data anytime. We delete inactive clinical data permanently within 90 days after account closure unless required by governing regulations.

Best Practices for Clinic Staff

• Individual Logins: Give each receptionist and doctor their own login credentials; never share master passwords.

• Immediate Revocation: Deactivate staff accounts immediately whenever an employee leaves the practice.

• Strong Passwords: Use unique, high-entropy passwords for all clinic user profiles.

Report a Security Concern

If you believe you have discovered a potential security vulnerability or issue, please notify our security engineering desk directly at support@clinicnexai.com with the subject line “Security Vulnerability”. We investigate all credible submissions within 2 business days.
